Presenting the cover for LONTAR issue #4!
We’re sad to be no longer be working with Sarah and Schooling on the art direction, but our in-house designer Yong Wen Yeu has done an excellent job continuing the retro-futuristic feel of our cover art that has thus far made LONTAR such a distinctive-looking literary journal.
We’re sending the issue to the printer this week, so it should be available in late May in bookstores all over Singapore, on the Epigram Books website, and as an ebook through Weightless Books. Yet another issue that I’m incredibly proud of, and I can’t wait for y’all to see it too!
Reblogged this on elizavictoria.com.
Hello, I would love to get an e-copy of your latest issue but when I try to click on links on the site selling the e-copies, I get “the internet cannot open this page.” Is there anything to be done about this? I’m very interested in the magazine and would like to read it, and do not live in Singapore. Cheers
Hi Elaine, many apologies! Issue #4 is not for sale just yet, in print or electronically, but it will be in just a couple of weeks. That link is just a placeholder for now. So do check back at the end of May!
So it isn’t possible to get a copy of Issue #3 electronically? I was actually trying to get that, but when I followed what appeared to be a link to the site where I could, nothing worked.
Ah, I see; sorry for the confusion. Okay, if you want to get issue #3, please try this link (I’m not sure why the other one isn’t working at the moment): https://weightlessbooks.com/authors/geoff-ryman-authors/lontar-the-journal-of-southeast-asian-speculative-fiction-issue-3/
Cool, thanks. As a Southeast Asian fan and writer, your whole concept intrigues me. Eager to take a look.
